I finally thought I found a cool community to race on GT Legends, and the last club race was last week. Wow. Not saying I won't stick around and get newer sims, I'm just a little bummed.

Thrustmaster T500 RS - can't assign buttons, pedals or wheel

Hi!

I have some trouble with the T500. I have bought almost the entire simbin bundle on Steam by know and all those old simbin games worked fine with my old wheel (Logitech Formula Force GP). But now i can't even assign the t500? I click the axle with my right mousebutton to choose what wheelbutton or pedal i want to use, but it automaticly sets the right mousebutton...for everything, whatever i click to edit it assignes to the right mousebutton...How do i get it to work?

Can i delete some...

I am assuming this is an old issue. dfgt, g27 pedals, thrustmaster th8rs. Just does a bunch of wierd stuff.

5th gear with H shifter

I need help to get GT Legends to accept B17 for the 5th gear with H shifter. Same for the Reverse, with B19, it seems that GT Legend does not accept higher than B16 (4th gear).
I could attribute an other button, like B3, to get the 5th gear to engage but it is not very immersive.
How is it done?

In 2015 it will be mostly the 1950's at Simracing.org.uk. Every single Monday night we will be running one of our fabulous GTL racing series beginnning on January 5th.
Brief series details follow..................

An 1950's Sprint racing series which last for approx 40mins with no pitstops required.

An 1950's Endurance series with pitstops. Approx 60 mins racing.

A Elan v TVR sprint race series with two races per night. Drivers have to change cars after the first race.

An American 1970's...

Getting this to work on Win 8 from Steam

So, downloaded the full SimBin mega pack, primarily to play GTL. Loaded up the game and got the graphics config box, entered my specifics then pressed play only to be returned to the graphics config box. It wouldn't recognize anything other than my onboard graphics card as opposed to my nVidia graphics card or release me from the loop.

So I reassigned the compatibility to XP SP3 as many suggest and ran as administrator, this time the config .ini changes, but I'm still trapped in the conifg...

Getting this to work on Win 8 from Steam

After extensive searches (thanks Google!) I finally found a program that adds the track map to GTL hud: lowHUD by lowspeed! :cool:

Probably because it was released on Altbierbude it didn't spread on the net (it was released almost 4 years ago! :confused:) but we are lucky enough that it can be downloaded freely.

It's an external program that must...

Howdy, all. Just getting back into GTL after several years away from it, and now I find I cant remember how to install setups for cars and tracks! Age doesn't help in that regard, too! So, somebody, (Warren, Rupe?) can you help me. please?

RaceDepartment have been made aware of an ambitious new project to rekindle the spirit of yesteryear with a return of the fabled GT Legends franchise, bringing a much anticipated sequel to the 2005 hit title some 11 years after its original release.

Simon Lundell is heading up new development team Tiny Feet Studios who aim to bring a second installment of the fabulous game to PC sim racers sometime in the coming years.

I've been of two minds of installing GTL once again, but I don't want to risk it by having Starforce on my PC. I have the disc, but I've looking at purchasing the Steam version to circumvent the Starforce protection.

So my question is. Does the Steam version of GT Legends still include...
